APCG understands that today’s federal managers have many competing demands. Paramount among these is agency execution in the face of increasing budgetary pressures and resulting scrutiny. APCG is committed to helping agency officials address this challenge by satisfying the spirit, as well as the letter, of mandated federal management requirements. We believe in helping federal managers comply with these mandates, but more importantly, ensure they get a commensurate return on investment of the resources expended on them.

APCG consultants have agency experience with the key statutes passed during the Government Reform Movement in the 1990s, as well as mandated Executive Branch management tools such as Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Exhibit 300s and the requirements of the President’s Management Agenda (PMA).

APCG consultants work side by side with agency officials to create an integrated,budget and management picture. Coordinated, consistent program management and budget reporting are key to measuring the success and stewardship of federal appropriations. It is obvious that no initiative can be successful without sustained funding. Compelling budget narratives, effective program management and a convincing business case demonstrate a program is meeting its performance goals -- increasing the likelihood of continued funding for providing services to the taxpayer.
