APCG believes that good facilitation is the key to exploring multiple alternatives and achieving team agreement. By definition, a facilitator serves as a neutral third-party and process expert, who is there to lead the group through its own journey of discovery.
Serving in a non-decision making role, APCG facilitators employ many facilitation techniques tailored to group needs. These needs may include the development of common planning assumptions, idea generation of new product and service offerings, and/or conflict management and issues resolution. The ultimate goals of facilitated sessions are to arrive at team understanding and agreement, and commitment to decisions. Facilitation services also include keeping the group and meeting on schedule and documenting meeting outcomes. Having APCG's skilled facilitators present at your planning session ensures that each member of your team can fully participate in the process of developing your organization’s future.
With respect to strategic exploration and planning facilitation, APCG has skilled facilitators with experience using a variety of approaches. These include Search Conference, Scenario Planning and Open Space Meetings. We also have experience in facilitating implications analysis and contingency planning.
